Daft Punk is a French electronic music duo formed in 1993 in Paris.  Daft Punk music duo were started by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. Their debut studio album Homework was released in 1997. Daft Punk's second album, Discovery (2001), became the basis for an animated film, "Interstella 5555". The Daft Punk duo directed their first film, Electroma in 2006.
