Mathilde O'Callaghan Notaro (Tig Notaro) is an American stand-up comic, writer, radio contributor, and actress. She is well known for her deadpan comedy. Her brother Renaud Notaro, who is works as a radio talk show host.

 

Notaro was first appeared on Comedy Central Presents television sitcom "The Sarah Silverman Program" as a lesbian police officer. Notaro released her debut stand-up album "Good One" In 2011. In 2012, she released her second album "Live". In November 2015, Notaro co-wrote, produced, and starred in television series "One Mississippi".

 

In 2015, her first stand-up one-hour special programe "Tig Notaro: Boyish Girl Interrupted" was released by HBO. In April 2018, Notaro appeared in the second season of "Star Trek: Discovery" as Chief Engineer Jett Reno.

 

Notaro was nominated in 2014 for the "Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album" at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards for her album "Live".
